Sierra or Activision: Who Ya Gonna Call?

With Activision’s acquisition of Blizzard (the publisher of World of Warcraft, Starcraft, and many other titles) and Sierra (the current publisher of Ghostbusters: The Video Game) almost official, it looks like Activision will likely be the official publisher of Ghostbusters.

What does this mean to Ghostbusters fans?  More marketing muscle for the video game (ever hear of Guitar Hero?).  Aside from that, time will tell.  Thanks to Kyle for the tip!

Happy 24th Birthday Ghostbusters!

As Ghostbuster213 reminds us, Ghostbusters turns 24 years old today.  It will be interesting to see how the franchise will evolve in the coming years, as there are many wonderful goodies appearing as we near the 25th anniversary of the original film.  Feel free to post your thoughts on the future of the Ghostbusters franchise on the Ghostbusters Message Board.
