If you are a ghosthead in the UK, listen up. Starting September 18th, Cineworld will be airing Ghostbusters on the silver screen. We highly recommend that all ghostheads see Ghostbusters in the theatre at least once (if not 100 times). More information will be made available soon. Oak Lawn Public Library hosts a free showing of the movie “Ghostbusters,” for patrons in grade four and up, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at 5300 W. 95th St. Before the movie begins, participants will be challenged to test their supernatural abilities and join in a quick game of movie trivia. Attendees must provide one nonperishable food item for admission. Donations will be given to the Oak Lawn food pantry. Information: (708) 422-4990.
Ghostbusters will be playing at the Music Box Theatre during two back to back weekend midnight showings (August 15th -16th and August 22nd - 23rd). Since Chicago is my home town, I will be out and about, passing out Ghostbusters.net stickers and other goodies.
Since Ghostbusters will be playing in the smaller theatre alongside Rocky Horror Picture Show (occupying the larger room), Chris from Proton Charging has a very interesting idea to help balance the craziness that is bound to take place at the theatre.
