Ghosthead ecto_skywalker from GB Fans found a 1987 Lincoln Town Car he wanted to prepare for his County Fair’s destruction derby. Aiming to win the award for best appearing style, ecto_skywalker decided to do his part and represent Ghostbusters by constructing the Ecto-19.
With the derby scheduled for tonight, we wish him luck!
Mostly True Comics decided to draw a Ghostbusters-inspired web comic this week.

In an interview with FilmStew, Be Kind Rewind director Michel Gondry admits he included the Ghostbusters remake in the film to impress an ex-girlfriend.
I thought maybe if I do this one, maybe she’s going to like me again.
It might not have worked on the girlfriend, but he managed to please a rabid audience of Ghostbusters fans. It could have been worse, at least he didn’t use Ghostbusters for evil. You can read the entire interview here.

Nearly 100,000 people gathered during the 2nd Annual Red Bull Flugtag London’s Hyde Park to watch contestants glide interesting contraptions over cold water. One of the flying machines entered into the contest was an Ecto-1.

The clip was produced as part of Volkswagen’s sponsorship of independent cinemas, encouraging people to see films differently. An impromptu continuum of German Ghostbusters references on the Ghostbusters.net blog.
A group of students from my alma matter, Indiana University, decide to have some fun dressed up as Ghostbusters.
Let’s hope this group of Ghostbusters didn’t get kicked out of University, I’m not sure their equipment will help them net fame and fortune.
