Flickr is full of great Ghostbusters related photos.  Thanks to gusnyc.com, who discovered and snapped shots of this amazing Ghostbusters-inspired street art in the bronx.

There is no doubt that Ghostbusters contains several dozen memorable lines and remains a very quotable movie to this day.  When UGO was putting together their top 50 “tough guy” movie lines, they didn’t leave out Ghostbusters, which ranked #41 for the following quip from Bill Murray.

Let’s show this prehistoric b*tch how we do things downtown.

One of my very favorite web comics had the heart to toss in a Ghostbusters reference.  Life is good.  Thanks to profzoom from the Ghostbusters Message Board for the tip!

This week’s Lil Formers web comic is devoted to Ghostbusters after Matt Moylan after his experience having a booth across from the Ghostbusters booth at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

Ghosthead ecto_skywalker from GB Fans found a 1987 Lincoln Town Car he wanted to prepare for his County Fair’s destruction derby.  Aiming to win the award for best appearing style, ecto_skywalker decided to do his part and represent Ghostbusters by constructing the Ecto-19.

With the derby scheduled for tonight, we wish him luck!

Mostly True Comics decided to draw a Ghostbusters-inspired web comic this week.

In an interview with FilmStew, Be Kind Rewind director Michel Gondry admits he included the Ghostbusters remake in the film to impress an ex-girlfriend.

I thought maybe if I do this one, maybe she’s going to like me again.

It might not have worked on the girlfriend, but he managed to please a rabid audience of Ghostbusters fans.  It could have been worse, at least he didn’t use Ghostbusters for evil.  You can read the entire interview here.

A brilliant Oxiclean / Ghostbusters satire by ghosthead Austin Young of the Central Oklahoma Ghostbusters.  Move over Billy Mays!

Nearly 100,000 people gathered during the 2nd Annual Red Bull Flugtag London’s Hyde Park to watch contestants glide interesting contraptions over cold water.  One of the flying machines entered into the contest was an Ecto-1.
