Ghostbusters, which celebrates its 25th anniversary on June 8 2009, was named funniest movie of the past 25 years by Entertainment Weekly.

In the summer of 1984, the only pop-culture question more common than ”Where’s the beef?” was ”Who you gonna call?’

GBTV had the chance to sit down with Tom Morga, who served as Harold Ramis’ stunt double in the original Ghostbusters film.

Hulu, the premium web video site owned by NBC Universal and News Corporation, added Ghostbusters to its lineup of freely available full-length movies.

In preparation for the 25th anniversary of Ghostbusters, a 50 gigabyte Blu-ray disc with Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II will be available in high definition, along with interactive games, episodes of the Real Ghostbusters, and more.

It seems as if everything discussed (and more) will be released on one Blu-ray 50 GB disc. Both movies, all the extras and bonus content on one disc.  That said, what do you think the packaging should look like?

Ghostbusters will be playing at the Music Box Theatre during two back to back weekend midnight showings (August 15th -16th and August 22nd - 23rd).  Since Chicago is my home town, I will be out and about, passing out Ghostbusters.net stickers and other goodies.
